Mixed-use laboratory and research building for the Biotech Campus in Geneva

The building is located on the existing site of the Campus Biotech, which was inaugurated in 2006 by Serono and is now a world-class life sciences research centre.

The programme calls for the development of a mixed-use building with high sustainability standards and a basic philosophy for every aspect of its design aimed at achieving BREEAM Outstanding certification. The aim is to create research laboratories and administrative spaces in synergy with the development of the Biotech Campus activities. 

The building envelope features a curtain wall made up of a system of sails, sunshades and sunscreens that reduce direct radiation and provide natural ventilation in mid-season and in summer.
