The HOTEL DE LA POSTE VERBIER is located in the centre of Verbier Station, between the Place Centrale and the Médran cable car station. This central position, in a street with soft mobility, where shops and activities bring life to passers-by, is ideal. The former Hôtel de la Poste is being reborn as a five-star establishment with forty rooms and nine residences in the centre of Verbier.

The project offers an urban redevelopment with the opening up of the Tintaz torrent between the carriageway and the pavement.

The new hotel is made up of two blocks (street and courtyard), with the programme spread over seven levels, including two underground levels. The common areas, open to the public, are located on the first two above-ground levels: spa, fitness, restaurant, bar and conference rooms. In each block, the stairwell is positioned in the centre of the buildings, freeing up the rooms and flats on the façades, with views of the mountains and the sun.

The poya envelops the bedroom levels, creating a traditional filter between the street, the balcony and the living spaces. The materiality of the project combines concrete for the main structural elements, old wood for the framework and balconies, and Colinal aluminium for the window frames and the poya on the façades. The blend of tradition and modernity makes this project a new beacon in the heart of Verbier.
