This property development project is planned for the centre of the village of Champéry. The aim is to create tourist residences in conjunction with the existing ‘Le National’ hotel.

The 22 flats will benefit from a top-of-the-range hotel service as well as leisure and business facilities, including a spa, indoor swimming pool, shared work area and conference room.

As part of its service-oriented approach, the building will also feature a restaurant with a generous south-facing terrace offering a breathtaking view of the Dents du Midi mountains.

The architecture refers to the heritage of Champérol. One naturally thinks of the old chalets built along the Route du Grand Paradis, which are characterised by their morphology, with a masonry base, a pronounced whistle-shaped gable roof and an envelope often with disjointed boards allowing fresh air to ventilate the fodder.

Clearly, the aim of the project is to reinterpret these typical, historic buildings, without any pretence, using the know-how of our time, sometimes in a traditional way and sometimes in an industrial way, while retaining a poetic vocabulary to combine tradition and modernity.
