All projectsThis project to develop a regional bank in the mountains perfectly illustrates the ability to combine local materials and craftsmanship with the requirements of contemporary and functional architecture. By highlighting stone, old wood and reinterpreted traditional techniques, the bank becomes much more than a simple place for financial transactions.
As soon as you enter, the visitor is immersed in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The walls, dressed in vertical oak veneer slats and the Sembrancher stone cladding, give the space a special atmosphere for a bank. Old wood, weathered by time, is used for the furniture and some walls, bringing a natural and timeless touch. Indirect lighting, judiciously integrated into the joinery assemblies, highlights the finesse of the materials and creates a cozy atmosphere.
The reception area is structured around a solid wood counter, and revisited in a refined and contemporary style. The ergonomics of the furniture promotes a close relationship between customers and advisors, in a setting that combines authenticity and comfort.
The meeting rooms use the same aesthetic codes, but with a more modern treatment of volumes and finishes. Large bay windows offer a breathtaking view of the Alpine landscape, highlighting the connection between the interior and the exterior.
The space dedicated to the ATM was designed to integrate harmoniously into the structure of the bank, while guaranteeing secure and functional access. Nestled in an alcove entirely clad in natural stone, the ATM discreetly disappears into the decor while remaining easily accessible.
An awning made of old wood, supported by sturdy joinery assemblies, protects the space from bad weather and reinforces its integration into the mountain environment. The LED lighting integrated into the wooden elements brings a touch of modernity and guarantees optimal visibility, even at night.
