Chalet Chevillard

All projects

Chalet Chevillard is just a stone's throw from Verbier's sports centre. Easy access to a wide range of sporting activities (swimming pool, ice rink, tennis courts, etc.) and cultural events (horse shows, classical music festival, etc.).

The building benefits from a beautiful, unobstructed view of the Alps and ideal sunshine all year round: an incomparable spectacle of tranquillity and majesty... ‘ Chevillard ’ is a chalet built of old stone. Chevillard’ is a chalet in old wood and natural stone, with a warm atmosphere and a resolutely contemporary style.

The living areas are located on the ground floor, with a large living room with visible rafter height, resembling a mountain refuge with its contemporary black granite fireplace. All the purlins and rafters are assembled in the old-fashioned way, with the rafters laid flat on top of the purlins.

This magnificent structure appears to be suspended thanks to the integration of a glass envelope, with a minimalist black coloured anodised aluminium frame. The large sliding glass doors offer a breathtaking view of the snow-covered Alpine landscape. The kitchen and dining area occupy sober spaces with a subtle balance between modern and antique materials. The white lacquered panels harmonise with the old axe-hewn wood, creating a measured contrast.
