2 residential buildings with a total of 38 flats (17 +21) with shops and an underground car park with 182 spaces. The main objective of the competition was to create new low-cost, but non-subsidised, collective housing buildings with typological qualities that would blend in well with the surrounding built fabric.

The decision was taken to propose a simple, uncluttered design, with the 2 buildings set around a square, not only as a village meeting place, but also to link and integrate the project with its immediate surroundings, namely the town hall and the church. The commercial areas face this new square and are enhanced by a mirrored water feature flush with the ground.

Most of the flats have a south-west facing aspect for the living areas and a north-facing aspect for the bedrooms. The envelope is made up of vertical fibre cement slats in molasse grey (AVERA AV 100).
