The Passage des Neuvilles consisted of creating a passage under the TMR track and a secure connection, via a footbridge open to pedestrians and cyclists, above this important entry route into the city of Martigny, via the Martigny-Expo motorway exit.

The Neuvilles underpass and the TMR bridge form a single concrete unit weighing 1,280 tonnes.

The footbridge intended for soft mobility includes a spiral ramp for bicycles and the greening of the site. It weighs around a hundred tonnes, cast nearby, and was installed in a single operation using cranes.

The underground routes reinforce the safety aspect of all traffic and increase the transport capacity of the district heating network.
